In June 2013, Rotarian B. M. Shivaraj of Rotary Club of Thane North End Was appointed as GSR for proposed Rotary Club of Thane Urbania. With the help of Rotarian Manisha Konduskar at Rustomjee complex and Rtn B.M. Sivarraj made the survey of the area.
He also appointed three key people in the area. They were:
1. Mr. Parikshit M Lad
2. Mr. Naveen Agarwal
3. Mr. Deepak Jain
List of members was sent to Rotary International along with necessary papers and the admission fees.
Rotary International gave the charter on June 5, 2013 signed by Sakuji Tanaka and the District Governor Dr Bal Inamdar.
